You can give Auto-GPT a description of what you want the agent to do and a list of goals - and it’ll perform actions such as searching the web, scraping a webpage, reading up news, and suggest what action it can do next. There is also a way to completely automate the process by giving it permission to take action on the next N calls.
The result of the above was a detailed report of the top 5 waterproof shoes companies, with their pros, cons and a conclusion summarizing the report. And it only took the author 8 minutes, at a cost of 10 cents. Basically automating the job of a junior researcher!
